TLDR; this game is one of my favorites ive come across on itch so far and i cannot wait for an update on it!!!
i like that the storyline is complex but not too complex. it tells an interesting story, but doesnt make you struggle to keep up. the characters are very well rounded and it goes into the backgrounds and mental health of the characters. i enjoyed seeing alvarez slowly trust you more and more as it progressed. i also like that even though it definitely has nsfw scenes, it doesnt rush into them. it feels a lot more natural than in other games that throw it in at random intervals just because they feel like it.
on top of how well written it is, the art is phenomenal! i tend not to expect too much out of games artistically and therefore dont generally comment on it, but i absolutely loved the art in this game. alvarez’s character design is so well done and as are all of the backgrounds. to me, alvarez’s car and his kitchen definitely stood out to me the most, background-wise.
overall a strong 10/10 and i cannot wait for an update on this game. even if it ended up being one of those games that never sees past its “to be continued” screen, i think i would still be satisfied having experienced the masterpiece that it has been so far.
